Arabic manuscript on cream and green paper, the ijaza with one line of large black naskh above 2ll. of smaller naskh, all in clouds reserved against pounced gold ground with floral illumination, below two cusped cartouches with further lines of naskh between floral panels, laid down between gold and polychrome floral borders, backed with marbled paper, mounted
