With eight mounted and silver framed black and white photographs of Ibrahim Fathi Pasha and colleagues, last album page with 26 miniature silver framed portraits with attached engraved silver name plaques, set in red velvet covered album decorated with pharaonic motifs and inscription cartouche with dedication to Ibrahim Fathi Pasha, photographs signed in bottom left-hand corner by Malik of Tantah, cover slightly rubbed, photographs in good condition
Largest photograph 11 1/8 x 9in. (28.3cm x 22.5cm.); album 15¾ x 13¾in. (40 x 35cm.)

Lot Essay

Ibrahim Fathi Pasha was an active member of the Wafd party leading up to and during the First World War. He served in Hussein Rouchdi's June 1915 government as Minister of Religious endowments or awqaf. Also in the same year he was granted the title Emir el Lewa.
