Gouache heightened with gold on paper, the prince on finely drawn white horse, holding a gold jug presented by a group of women, mounted on gold illuminated margins, rubbed identification inscription along the bottom, framed and glazed

Lot Essay

Rahim Dakkani (from Deccan) is the painter of a number of lacquer penboxes, two of which are in the Freer Gallery of Art and in the Nasser D.
