LATOUR
Château Latour--Vintage 1970
Pauillac, 1er cru classé
Levels: four bottom neck, one very top shoulder; one lightly corroded capsule, two signs of old seepage
"Another standout from this tasting, the Latour retained a deep color and showed little development. On the nose it was amazingly powerful, with rich, ripe fruit and a tarry, minerally quality. On the palate the wine was also very ripe and full bodied, with great length." CC, November 2003
5 bottles per lot
