Circular, the cover set with a Vienna style porcelain plaque painted after a portrait by Joseph Karl Stieler in the 'Gallery of Beauties' at Schloss Nymphenburg, the sides with swags of bellflowers between laurel borders, the interior upholstered, with leather base, marked on underside of mount
