Circular, the center painted with a rose after Redouté and titled 'Rosier de Provins à Fleur gigantesque', the border with gilt stylized foliate wreath, the reverse with gilt inscription 'Archangelski 1826 Tome. 3. p. 25', marked under base with incised potter's mark

Purchased in Leningrad in July 1932 by Mrs. James T. Harahan, Chicago.
By descent through the family to the present owner.
