By the Kornilov Factory, St. Petersburg, 1891-1917
Circular, with gilt rims, each decorated with a different bird in a winter landscape, after designs by N. Karazin, comprising a heath cock, a moor cock, a snipe, a field duck, a Caucasian pheasant, a Siberian partridge, and a gelinotte, within a border of yellow, green and brick red strapwork in Old Russian style, with identifying inscriptions in English on the reverse, marked on reverse with overglaze factory mark and inscription 'Made in Russia by Kornilow Bros.'
