This hitherto unrecorded work, relates to a composition by Giordano, known in at least four other versions that include the pictures in; the Pinacoteca Provinciale, Bari; the Getty Museum, Malibu; the Brass collection, Venice and the Herzog Anton-Ulrich collection, Brunswick.
