Of tall tazza form, the center painted with a blue tit among platinum and gilt foliage, surrounded by a honeycomb border interrupted by panels of variant flowering branches in the Japanese taste, beneath a pierced fretwork gallery, supported on a quatrefoil stand with gilt lion-mask terminals, the conforming base painted with panels of specimen birds, the pierced box corners enriched as pseudo-cloisonné
