LATE 19TH CENTURY, ALL SIGNED A.(LBOIN) BIRKS
Comprising: a pale-blue example finely painted and hand-tooled in white slip with a maiden in diaphanous drapery attentively watching three clambering putti as they attempt to reach a champion's wreath at the top of a tall columnar ladder; and a pair with chariot scenes against green backgrounds, within an oval gilt beaded surround and further anthemion motifs
6 7/8 in. (17.3 cm.) high, 4 in. (10.1 cm.) wide, the first; 4 in. (10 cm.) high, 5 3/8 in. (13.6 cm.) wide, the slightly larger of the pair; excluding the matching ebonized frames (3)
