Levels: bottom neck or better; one nicked capsule, bin and glue stained labels, three damp stained labels
Tasting Note: "1979 Pétrus at a recent tasting was drinking well and charming, with an open, sexy Pomerol nose with hints of brown sugar, fig and plum and wild, slightly animal undercurrent- a truly classic wine from this estate. On the palate the wine was deep, succulent, and dynamic, with a structure that is still reasonably firm and a nice, lingering finish. Drinking well now, approaching maturity." CC, August 2010
