etching, circa 1861, on laid paper, fourth state (of nine), with margins, trimmed inside the platemark on three sides but well outside the subject, some minor light staining and foxing, otherwise in good condition, framed; together with The Willow (L. 1) and The Herdsman's cottage (L. 3), by the same hand, second state (of three) and second, final state, both with margins and apparently in good condition, unexamined out of their frames
