A MUGHAL-STYLE GREENISH-WHITE JADE BOWL AND COVER
18TH CENTURY
The oval-shaped vessel finely carved and supported on a short foot formed by a stylised bloom, the base with a band of stylised leaves, applied on either side with a broad acanthus leaf folded at the tip to form the handle, the gently domed cover decorated with concentric lines emanating from a bud finial, the stone of a pale even tone with minor inclusions
