QIANLONG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARKS IN A LINE ALONG THE RIMS AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-95)
Each candlestick overall finely carved through a thick layer of lacquer to the black diaper ground with stylised lotus blooms borne on leafy tendrils, the bell-shaped base and exterior of the central shallow drip-pan decorated with the 'Eight Buddhist Emblems'. bajixiang, continuing to a smaller pan surmounted by gilt prickets
