THE PORCELAIN 18TH/19TH CENTURY
The plaque finely painted in bright tones of cobalt blue, with lotus leaves and flowers to the centre, surrounded with the Eight Buddhist Emblems, bajixiang, interspersed by stylised lotus blooms, all borne on meandering leafy scrolls and within a border of bats, set into the top of the square hongmu frame, above the waist with openwork panels and scroll-form apron, continuing to sinuous carved spandrels and square legs terminating in neat hoof feet
33 in. (83.8 cm.) high; 31 in. (78.8 cm.) wide; 30.5 in. (77.4 cm.) deep
