A LARGE ZITAN THREE-DRAWER ALTAR COFFER, LIANSANCHU

The long rectangular top panel with 'ice-plate' edge, set on square legs holding the top row of three drawers, each mounted with a swing handle escutcheon, all above a straight apron carved to the centre with a stylised floral motif and surrounded by interlocking archaistic scrolls, the side spandrels with similarly carved decoration
