The plain top with thick rounded ends, above the continuous apron and spandrels carved with double gourds and blossoms borne on meandering leafy vines, supported on trestles, each with an openwork panel similarly carved on both sides, the wood of a dark reddish-brown tone

Purchased in Constantinople in 1921.
