Each of cylindrical form, the exteriors painted all over in various tones of cobalt blue with traces of gilt, depicting scenes of courtly officials in various activities and pursuits, including writing, reading, playing and appreciating music and playing Chinese chess, weiqi, interspersed by quatrefoil apertures
