Cal. 2385 nickel-finished lever movement, 37 jewels, 18K gold rotor, engine-turned grey dial, luminous Arabic numerals on black chapter ring, luminous hands, three subsidiary dials for 12 hours and 30 minutes registers, constant seconds, window for date, the red Alinghi logo to the 12 hours register, large tonneau-shaped water-resistant-type case, screwed octagonal bezel, screw down crown, the back secured by eight screws and centred by the engraved and raised scene depicting two racing sailing boats, two round chronograph buttons in the band, original rubber strap and stainless steel Audemars Piguet deployant clasp depicting the letters AP, case, dial and movement signed

The "City of Sails" was made in 2003 in a limited edition of 1000 examples in stainless steel to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Royal Oak model. It is dedicated to the Swiss "Alinghi" team, winner of the America's Cup in 2003.
