A CHINESE JADE CARVING OF A LOTUS POD AND A CHINESE JADE VASE
18TH AND 19TH CENTURY
The pebble well carved as two lotus pods with a lotus leaf on the underside and a small perched beside, the stone with a slight celadon tone with small areas of russet inclusions; the vase of flattened rectangular form with twin handles, decorated with a band of taotie masks and lappets, the stone of a pale green celadon colour with natural inclusions
