Shaped cylindrical on four feet modeled as masks, the ivory body carved in high relief with a Bacchanalian scene, the domed cover decorated with a foliate band and surmounted by a putto with cymbals, the ivory handle carved as a putto eating grapes, with a modeled mask thumbpiece, fully marked, except for one nut under base and four small nuts under cover
