A LONDON DELFT BLUE AND WHITE CHINOISERIE SHALLOW BOWL
CIRCA 1640, SOUTHWARK OR ROTHERHITHE
Painted in the Wanli style with a central flowerhead radiating dash- ornament within concentric circles, the border divided into panels of flowers and precious objects, the reverse with a buff slip and lead glaze (restoration to rim, re-touched glaze flakes)
10 3/8 in. (26.5 cm.) diam.
