AN ENGLISH DELFT POLYCHROME MODEL OF A SHOE
CIRCA 1710-20, PROBABLY LAMBETH
In the form of a lady's shoe, with a moulded rectangular buckle, painted in blue and iron-red with a central band of chinoiserie flowers and scrolling foliage between sections painted to simulate fabric with stripes, edged with simulated stitching, with a blue heel (the tongue restored along edge)
