A LONDON DELFT POLYCHROME CIRCULAR SUGAR-POT AND COVER
CIRCA 1715-20, PROBABLY VAUXHALL, PAINTED 2 IN BLUE TO THE INTERIOR OF THE COVER
Of cylindrical form, the flattened cover with indented knop finial, painted in blue, iron-red and green with alternating stylised tulip and peony, among seeded circles, between wave and scroll-pattern borders (cover cracked across and restored, filled crack to rim of pot, minor scattered chipping and flaking)
3 1/8 in. (7.9 cm.) diam.
