Of slender ovoid form, gilt-metal-mounted with winged female bust handles, each painted and indistinctly signed with a gilt-framed panel enclosing a winter scene of skaters on a lake or a summer scene of peasants picnicing, the reverse with landscape scenes, all against the dark-blue ground, mounted on a gilt-metal square base with canted corners, the covers with pomegranate finials
