Chave is famous for producing their outstanding red and white Hermitage from their 13.9 hectares of vineyards containing Syrah (9.3 hectares), and the white varietals Marsanne and Roussanne (4.6 hectares in an approximate ratio of 80 to 20. They also produce an extremely rare Hermitage called Cuvée Cathelin
