The silver-mounted black leather covered box opening at the front to reveal a silk-lined interior, the cover further hinged to reveal oblong and square silver boxes, each with a hinged cover and drop ring handle and a square sander with detachable cover, with a further later silver-mounted ink-bottle, marked under each box, inside or on covers and on silver-mounts with two versions of the décharge of Julien Berthe
