The tapering bowl chased as a flower and engraved in German at the border with an inscription as the Lucerne International Rowing Regatta Challenge cup, the sides further engraved with the names of winners from 1899-1902, the stem cast as a mermaid, supported on spreading part-fluted foot with foliage cast rim, marked on foot
