This elegant oil sketch, formerly attributed to Corrado Giaquinto, appears to be by an as-yet unidentified French painting from the 'generation of 1718' -- a group that included Louis Joseph Le Lorrain, Jean Barbault, Noël Hallé, Jean Baptiste Marie Pierre and Joseph Vien.
