Château Mouton-Rothschild--Vintage 1869
Pauillac, 1er cru classé
Bordeaux-bottled, Galos. Very pale tawny colour. Bin soiled label. Level upper-shoulder
Tasting note: Three bottles all re-corked at Lafite in 1980. Frankly both were variable, malty and decayed, ullaged and decadent, the third, 'faded and faint' at first but bouquet and flavour rallied round. Sweet, fragrant. At Flatt's Mouton tasting April 1986 *** M.B.
1 bottle per lot
