LATE 19TH CENTURY, BLUE BEEHIVE MARKS, SIGNED F. KUPLER
Of baluster form, the domed cover with cone finial, the body finely painted with a continuous view of classical figures before altars, reserved on a gold diaper-pattern ground, the neck and socle enameled in white with either children or muses playing musical instruments, the conforming circular stand painted with oval panels depicting Europa and the Bull and a courting couple, all within elaborately gilt and white 'jeweled' reserves
