This was the first known gig in a series of unpublicised British gigs that the band played in spring 1971, allowing them to play mostly new material that would appear on the next album Who's Next. The dates on the tour weren't advertised until the day before, and admission was only 50p. Interestingly it was after this gig, on the journey south near Sheffield that a call of nature helped create the album cover photo for Who's Next
