QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
Of pear-shape and square section supported on a spreading base, applied on either side of the neck with a mask-handle suspending a loose ring, cast in shallow relief with a band of keyfret around the neck, and a band of S-scroll around the shoulder above four archaistic blades, the dark brown metal highlighted with irregular gilt-splashes
