Lot Essay

US$25,000-35,000
With presentation case, outer packaging and product literature.

Vincent Bèrard moved to Switzerland from Avignon in France over thirty years ago. He trained as a watchmaker and repairer at the École de la Vallé de Joux, following which he joined the Musée International de l'Horlogerie in La Chaux-de-Fonds as a restorer of antique timepieces. After having worked for various Manufactures, Vicent Bèrard established his own company, Vincent Bèrard SA, in 2003. Highly regarded as an innovative watchmaker, his brand has unveiled new collections offered here for auction for the first time. All these timepieces are fitted with the hand-decorated VB 441 movement.

Quote from Vincent Bèrard

"One always lacks space within a watch to express immensity, which is why I use symbolism, since it contains a concentrated blend of the great forces that drive the world."
