Named after the Spanish town of Numancia, Numanthia is located in the Toro region where wine has been produced since the Roman times. Its intensity and finesse comes from 50 to 100 year old ungrafted Tinta de Toro vines producing low yields and concentrated fruits. The wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels resulting in balance and structure.
