Lot Essay

Accompanied by the original Waltham Premier Maximus fitted wood box.

Waltham introduced their Premier Maximus in 1908 with an initial production of approximately 200 pieces that began with the serial number 17,000,000. It remained their most expensive and highest quality model and retailed in 1923 for $500. This line received the seal of accuracy from the Kew Observatory attesting to their superior accuracy.
