2 volumes in one, oblong 4o (183 x 240 mm). 2 title pages, double page engraved map and 95 engraved plates (some browning and staining, a few marginal tears). Contemporary marbled calf (rebacked, old spine laid down). Provenance: Ludovici Gerogii Gougenot (bookplate).

Included are Zucchi's engravings from Forestiere Illuminato as well as other views of Venice including private residences, palazzi, churches, canals and bridges.

Later edtion. Though the title page names this edition the "Seconda Edizione," this work was published after the 1780 printing of the true Second Edition. This guide to Vicenza is almost entirely devoted to the buildings of Palladio and Scamozzi. (3)
