A Bigger Splash broke house records when it opened in London in an unprecedented release in three art cinemas: the Paris Pullman, The Times Baker Street and The Screen on the Green. The original quad features a large section of the film's theme painting by David Hockney - Portrait of an Artist - the artist being Peter Schlesinger, the figure both in the pool and in the photograph. The rare style B quad was made to mark the film's one year release in London. This poster was primarily posted on construction site panels and was printed in limited numbers.
