TWO FRENCH AND WITH PEGGED CONSTRUCTION, CIRCA 1760, TWO ENGLISH AND WITH BATTEN-CARRYING HOLES, CIRCA 1770
Each cartouche-shaped padded back and seat covered in pale green watered silk, the channelled and foliate-carved frame with slightly outscrolled arms, on cabriole legs and shell-carved scroll feet, later blocks, feet tipped, re-gilt, the French fauteuils with traces of earlier grey decoration, one inscribed '3' the other '5' and Reeves, minor variations in carving, the English chairs previously with corner blocks
