The plain body applied with a narrow girdle on spreading circular foot, domed cover with fluted thumbpiece, the scroll handle terminating in a heart-shaped escutcheon, handle inscribed with the initials S over W*I and engraved with the later arms of Robert Andrew Macfie of Dreghorn
