The first of regulation form with nickel skull, Queen's crown regimental plate, brass chip-strap, brown leather liner, and red nylon plume; the second with round iron-bound wooden body, the whole painted blue with white painted lettering 'L.R. G. 140' to one side
The first 17¼in. (43.8cm.) high, the second 7in. (17.8cm.) diam. (2)

The markings on the water flask are possibly for a Hanoverian regiment.
