Hand painted, the back moulded 'WM DE MORGAN/SANDS END POTTERY/FULHAM' in a roundel; together with a William De Morgan Bedford Park Anemone tile, the back moulded 'OM/98'; and a third tile with pomegranate design by Minton

Lot Essay

The 'BBB' tile was one of De Morgan's most popular designs. The name derives from the Norwich-based cast-iron fireplace firm of Barnard, Bishop and Barnard.
