The stained sycamore banded and boxwood strung cornice above a boxwood and ebonised strung frieze, above fan medallion inset glazed doors enclosing supports for adjustable shelves (the interior lacking shelves), now wired for electricity, the base with a secretaire drawer banded in stained sycamore and boxwood, the interior with pigeon holes, small drawers and a leather writing surface
