The moulded top above a secretaire drawer fitted with stationery compartments and four small mahogany drawers, above ten further short drawers including a drawer to the apron

Provenance
Almost certainly supplied to Thomas Taylor, 1st Lord Headfort and later 1st Earl of Bective in the mid-eighteenth century. Thence by descent at Headfort House, Co. Meath, Ireland, until offered Sotheby's, London, 22 November 2006, lot 174 (one of two similar desks.)
