Edo period (19th century), signed Kajikawa saku and with red jar seal
Decorated in gold, silver, red and black hiramaki-e, takamaki-e, kirikane and aogai inlay with peacock, peahen and peonies with red-lacquer highlights on rocks, all against a kinji ground, the interiors nashiji; with an ivory netsuke of lion-dogs and peonies, signed Kagetoshi and also with an ivory ojime inlaid with flowers in mother-of-pearl and colored ivory
