The kidney-shaped, lobed box decorated on the lid and sides in varicolored gold, brown, red and black hiramaki-e, takamaki-e, kirikane and nashiji with landscapes of frolicking horses, accompanied by inset tray decorated with monkeys; nashiji interior, signed on reverse of tray
