CONSTRUCTED RE-USING A 16TH CENTURY CASSONE
The hinged moulded top engraved with geometric lozenge pattern, above panelled sides, the front carved with angels holding a cartouche flanked by griffins, in an oak leaf and acorn border, flanked by male and female herms, on gadroon-fluted plinth and later mask and paw feet, re-gilt, with an inventory label 'D3658'
