A gray schist relief of Buddha
Gandhara, 2nd/3rd Century
The Buddha seated at right with his right hand in abhayamudra and the left clutching the folds of his sanghati, his face with pensive downcast eyes, the hair in wavy locks pulled over the ushnisha, with three attendant figures below a frond of leaves to his right, a column in a niche at center and three more attendant figures at far left, all dressed in flowing robes with finely carved folds
