CASE: lanceolate leaf-moulded hood with shaped later glazed side panels, conforming decoration to the trunk and plinth, the trunk door with further applied carved gilt mouldings and glazed lenticle, redecorated DIAL: 12 in. wide repoussé brass dial with engraved and silvered chapter ring and conforming brass centre, replaced blued steel hands MOVEMENT: the replaced movement with weight-driven going train and fixed barrels for hour and quarter strike trains, dead beat escapement, striking the hours and quarters on two bells; pendulum
