A FRENCH ORMOLU-MOUNTED ROSEWOOD BUREAU PLAT
IN THE MANNER OF CHARLES CRESSENT, LATE 19TH CENTURY
The rectangular top inset with a tan-coloured leather writing surface, above three shaped drawers to the front and false drawer fronts to the reverse, the ends each centred by a Bacchic mask, on tapering legs headed by female masks and terminating in acanthus-cast sabots, the mounts variously stamped to the reverse 'HPR'
